Happy Presents under the Tree Day, from Squid!

The night before christmas cupcakes!

We went to Lancaster Cupcake for another cupcake storytime - and they went all out! 

 Balloons, goldfish (Squid's favorite!) and punch!

  They read "The night before Christmas"and then Squid made a reindeer cupcake!  

(They also had a wreath cupcake option.)

And as an added bonus, they offered a free cupcake to the adults as well!  We had bourbon pecan, gingerbread and peppermint patty.

Koala crate: music

 We are loving our Kiwi crate subscription!  We upgraded from Cricket (the baby to age 2 set) to Koala (age 3-4) last month and this month's was an awesome music crate!  We made a xylophone, a tambourine and a ribbon dancer; we read and played with a magazine and Squid had an awesome time learning about writing music!

Etown Holiday Parade!

It was cold, but nice so we went out to the Holiday Parade downtown.

One of the local churches was handing out free cocoa!

Squid likes marching bands.

Yay - Fancy Cars!

We got both M&Ms and the Hershey Kiss mobile!  Central PA is sweet.

And the parade ended with Santa.

Hershey park: Christmas Candylane

Hi Reese!  We came to see your holiday decorations!

 Mmmm.. S'mores.  Yes, let's get together!

 Santa was kind of scary, but the Holiday Trees were pretty!

 And look at all the toys!  I think the Kiss will like his new scooter.

Duck donuts!

We visited Duck Donuts today, to eat delicious fresh donuts and stare in awe at the donut machine.

 Hooray!  Donut time!

Hershey Park in the Dark

At the end of October, we got all dressed up and went to Hershey Park!

We rode on some of our favorite rides, like the Trailblazer roller coaster:

 the Jumping Frogs:

and the Carousel!

And we went trick or treating!

Cupcake Decorating

Today, we went to Lancaster Cupcake for a special storytime and cupcake decorating time!

 They read "Llama Llama, Giving Thanks" and then we made pie cupcakes!

Squid had lots of fun.

And the cupcake was DELICIOUS!

Trick or Treat trail with the Central PA Avengers

Today, we went to check out the Trick Or Treat Trail at the GEARS Community Center.

It's organized by the Central PA Avengers - a group of charity cosplayers.

Squid the Dragon is suspicious.  

 Of everything.

 Squirrel Girl was pretty cool though.

 And the Fairy Princess had a dragon.

 Oh!  Hey!  We recognize Mario!

Toddler Hike in Mount Gretna!

We went on a hike to look for "Signs of Fall".

And we used leaves we found to make leaf prints!

We used paint on some and a brayer with stamp ink on others.

The Manheim Community Farm Show

 There were bunnies to pet!

 and tractors to play with!

and Daddy to share it all with!

"My new bike"

We got a new kickbike (and helmet) this week.

First, Squid helped Daddy put it together.

Then, Daddy helped Squid practice riding.
