Feature Friday: Fruits and Veg

 Today, we have a nice basket of fruits and veggies, handmade by Mommy. And a brand new board book copy of Lois Ehlert’s Eating the Alphabet!
Containing: a small orange, a lime, an ear of corn, a carrot, a banana, a beet, a mushroom, some pieces of leaf lettuce and a tomato slice, and a piece of rhubarb.

This year, we subscribed to Babybug magazine and boy, has it been worth it!  Squid loves it!

At storytime recently, the librarian was talking about the importance of letting kids explore the mechanics of books - learning how to turn pages and what side is "up" on a book, etc.

I feel like Squid's ahead of the curve here.
